Sales for Window Cleaning Companies

In selling window-cleaning services to small businesses in retail centers it is often advisable to give free services to show them of your abilities. When working on selling to large corporations you'll need to do personal sales and approach them in a very professional matter and have with you a copy of your million-dollar liability insurance policy certificate to work other property.

Often you may have to meet with the facilities maintenance directors and do a professional sales call. If you meet with the facilities maintenance director it pays not to wear a suit and tie, but rather a polo shirt and Levi's. If you look too fancy and slick then the facilities maintenance director will not like you.

If you are meeting with a professional property management company sometimes it is smart to take pictures of a few of other buildings that you clean the windows for. When bidding on large government building contracts for cleaning windows you need to make sure that you get on the bidders list well in advance and that you know everybody involved on a personal first name basis.

Selling window cleaning services is easy but remember it is a very competitive business and you need to know your stuff and present yourself as a reliable company who will do an excellent job and never be late. Please consider all this in 2006.
