There are a few very good artwork sites where artists can send in their art or photos. Turns out these types of sites are very popular. But what if online art submission sites were formatted to work like online article submission websites on the Internet? For instance lets take a site like EzineArticles.com and lets say for instance it allowed uploading of photos and pictures to its website like Flickr.com? You see this might do well for a site, which already has 14,000 authors posting articles and nearly 100,000 articles already online. It is for that reason I would like to take this opportunity to suggest that a smart web promoter who had a large following of information articles might wish to host "Art" in "jped," gif, or tif files. Categories could be simple at first with Categories such as; Concept Art, Modern Art, Design Art, Contemporary Art and Impressionistic Art. This part of the website would also contain a full search feature so people could search; horses, cartoons, cars, landscapes, nudes, architecture or designs. This way, artists can post all their designs and art, which may go with their articles. My thoughts are that the site would be more encompassing and would generate traffic from searches. Creative people who write may also be artists too who might also draw and I would be willing to bet a cup of coffee that 20% of online article submission authors are in fact drawers, artists and like to sketch. An online article submission site, which already will have mega content, would benefit from such an addition to their site and indeed attract other artists, who are a greater percent of authors 50%, thus increase new authors. Not all authors are artists, but most artists are authors. Statistically speaking this appears to be correct. My point is if an online article submission site has server space then they can attract higher end clientele. Art lovers and buyers have more money to spend and will make a better payoff for the online article writers, meaning the article writers will write more articles as a percentage of their advertising allotment, because they see the results and make more money when they do. For a large website like EzineArticles, they might simply develop another category and sister site such as: "EzineArt." Since EzineArticles specializing in content for Ezine Editors they would also be getting some graphics going for your Ezine editors too. "This picture by Ellen Smith www.EllenSmithArt.com " and thus the artists is helped and the Ezine Editor gets great graphics. People would use this on their websites too and give more exposure to Artists to sell they are thru links to their websites. The art will be very small and if people want a bigger picture they can come to the artists website, read about the artist by clicking to their site. Plus the Hosting website of all this art would make good money on Art Click Ads, which pay better than most AdSense type ads. Every one wins in this scenario so it does make dollars and a lot of cents. Think on it. |
