Want To Market On The Internet?

This article is geared more to new persons who want to market on the Internet. If you're a experienced webmaster, a great newsletter for professionals is SiteProNews.

Earn truck loads of cash Fast, easy. New launch of best productson the Internet. Join FREE and get in on the top. Ads like the so called cash king, jerk, (don't know if it's the same person) will show you how to get that house, car, boat he has.

"Newbies; no experience needed. I will build your web site with five earning streams FREE."

This is what I seen when I first came on the Internet marketing scene in 2003. I had to check with my server to make sure I was connected to the Internet and not just some connection of Royal Canadian Farce TV show. This was a real shock to a retired person who was in business offline for 45 years.

At first I just decided it was too wild for me, but a friend talked me into giving it a try. Heck maybe I could finally sell the Brooklyn Bridge. Further it would make a real challenge for retired persons.

Once you dig your way through all the hype, scams and frauds, you find that there is a future in marketing on the Internet.

When you start make sure you wouldn't be one more of the problems. Check out the governing regulations that effect Internet marketing. Go to www.ftc.gov.com and get familiar with the regulations and check out some of the other helpful links to tips, fraud.

Make sure you follow the two main regulations dealing with email. Mail your offers only to persons who have contacted you. You are required to enclose in all your offers your email address, business address, phone. If you're using an Auto responder you are required to have a unsubscribe link that can be clicked on so the person can have his name removed from your data base, if he wishes.

It's very important to remember if you are an affiliate make sure the firm you are marketing for meet's the required FTC regulations dealing with fraud, deceptive marketing practices.

The FTC works for the consumer to prevent fraudulent, deceptive and unfair business practices in the marketplace and to provide information to help consumers spot, stop and avoid them. To file a complaint or to get free information on consumer issues, visit www.ftc.gov or call toll-free, 1-877-FTC-HELP (1-877-382-4357); TTY: 1-866-653-4261. The FTC enters Internet, telemarketing, identity theft and other fraud-related complaints into Consumer Sentinel, a secure, online database available to hundreds of civil and criminal law enforcement agencies in the U.S. and abroad.
