Something that ticks most people off is that whenever you complain to one of these bigger organizations, nine times out of ten you get the reply, Im sorry, its Company rule. We cant do anything about it. And its almost as if theyre saying that this rule is beyond human power to transcend, when wed have to be slightly thick if we didnt realize that the reason the Company has such a rule is that it benefits them. The day the rule benefits the customer more than the Company, changing the rule will be done with the alacrity of a gazelle trying to outrun a hungry lion.

According to Lynn Grabhorn, rules have been used from the beginning of time to allow one section of humans to subdue another. The people who wanted it all convinced the rest of the world that it had been their fortune to rule, and the misfortune of the majority, to be ruled. The necessity for this was the fact that theres only so much in the world to go around.

And for thousands of years now, weve imbibed this theory that some of us are born into the greater unlucky majority who will struggle and toil, and never get anywhere, while the lucky few get all the breaks.

Phooee to that, says Lynn Grabhorn. There is enough for all of us. We are all worthy, able, and capable of having it all. According to Lynn, all we need to do is to create our own world by forgetting all those must do, should do, have to do, expected to do, and all the rest of the rules that tend to immobilize us and make victims of us.
